Equflx Saddle Pad

Your horse's back is a complex structure built of nerve and muscle, tendon and ligament, cartilage and bone. At the core of the system encased safely in the protective fortress of of the vertebrae runs the spinal cord, or the super highway of the nervous system. Every step, every turn, every movement a horse makes from his poll to his tail originates in the nerves of the spine. And every muscular action from his feet to his ears interconnects in some way with the muscles and tendons of his back and neck. 

Even a good fitting saddle does not relieve pressure from the skeletal below the top line. It creates pressure on the spine of the horse by moving weight of the saddle and rider. The Equflx pad with its internal plastic flex plate and plastic wire cushions equalizes the weight of the saddle and rider while in motion distributing pressure evenly away from the horse's spine. 

The underside is a  l/2" wool felt, and the top is tough 1/4” neoprene. Between the neoprene and the wool is a durable flexible plastic panel that sits below the top line from the withers to the back of the saddle, on both sides. For added cushioning there is a plastic wire mesh, below each side of the withers. The entire body of the pad including the leather top line is perforated for ventilation. 

Equflx Pads are designed  to leave the horse’s spine clear from any  pressure points. Equflx Pads help to equalize the weight of the rider, and the saddle on the horse’s back while in motion.
